DOHC, 4-valve and ready to rev. The CB300R's engine is a compact jewel producing 27.5Nm @ 7,550rpm with 22.9kW @ 9,000rpm peak. So you have strong torque to punch out of corners and real power for speed. For extra around-town control, an Assist/Slipper clutch manages the gearbox – changing up is easier, and rear wheel hop is reduced under hard braking and rapid down changes. The engine's cleaner, too, and EURO5 compliant.
